STUDIO NOW OPEN

So, after years of renting studio space on a pay-as-you-go basis, I’ve finally found a space of my own, right in the heart of Derby city centre - and it’s just perfect!

The studio is on the third floor of Banks Mill Studios, a landmark building formerly a rope and tarpaulin factory owned by the Banks family. In 1999 the mill was refurbished and remodelled into working studios.

The studio features some of the buildings industrial charm including the exposed brickwork and large windows, which allows the natural light to flood in.

I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of the other artists in the building, and getting my space ready for my first clients…
