I had a fantastic time shooting with Rob, experimenting with various photo styles. Together, we created corporate-style portraits by layering a couple of hand-painted backdrops for added effect. Rob noticed my vintage red chair in the studio, and we captured a few portraits using the chair by the window. We also experimented with shallow depth of field to create dramatic images featuring Rob’s hands. During breaks, we drank numerous cups of tea, and Rob graciously helped me cope with my flying anxiety, as I was set to board a plane for the first time in 20 years a few days later. He recommended creating a photo diary of the journey and reframing it as an adventure. Thank you, Rob!
