HORSES, PEBBLES BEACH, BARBADOS
I was thrilled to bits to witness the racehorses bathing and swimming at Pebbles Beach. My friend Georgia had told me all about them and shared some beautiful photographs she had taken previously. Each morning at sunrise, grooms from the nearby stables at Garrison Savannah, a horse racing venue situated within the historic Garrison area, guide their horses to the beach for an early morning swim.
Some horses require guidance from the handler to enter the water, as not all of them are eager to do so, while others are accustomed to it and thoroughly enjoy the experience. Below are a few images I captured during their Sunday morning session…
