MATT - TEST SHOOT
In response to a casting call I posted seeking individuals interested in assisting with experimenting with various lighting concepts, Matt expressed interest, and I scheduled a studio session for him.
I had a distinct vision of wanting to create a moody portrait. I constructed the set utilising vintage wooden crates, a wooden chest, and a pair of old wooden step ladders positioned against one of my hand-painted backdrops. To enhance the photos with depth and mood, I strategically placed a light above Matt and slightly to one side. Additionally, we incorporated ambient light from a tall window into the setup. I was delighted with the textured appearance of the hand-painted backdrop and the vignette effect created by the light.
